A Tragic Reality
According to the Children's Defense Fund, every 41 seconds a child is born in the USA without simple health insurance.
In my opinion, this is a travesty and something has to be done about it. "No" child should come into this world, without proper health care benefits and with the wealth and resources this country enjoys,there is no reason why this ongoing tragedy should exist. CDF, has provided a way for us to make congress aware of this travesty,by providing a petition we may endorse, making them aware that we, the people born and raised in the USA want and require that all children born here, have access to simple "free" health insurance.They also suggest, that proponents for this cause, place their counter on their website or blog (see my sidebar) making others aware of how often this occurs and also, enabling them to sign the petition that's provided on the counter. And so, I personally ask you to please do all you can to give these innocent ones a head start in life. It's their "right" and they should not be left without. |
