A Savage Attack
This intel probably won't be a popular one, but I truly felt the need to voice my opinion as well as the outrage and sadness I feel after witnessing the brutal and inexcusable attack perpetrated on 16 year old Victoria Lindsay, the Lakeland County, Florida
resident, who was lured to a so called friends home and viciously attacked and beaten by 6 teenagers,for 30 straight minutes while 2 young boys stood "guard"outside the home, beating her so badly, she was left with loss of hearing , no vision in one eye and bruised and battered so badly, that her own father exclaimed,he didn't even recognize her after visiting her in the hospital. To make matters worse ,these savages actually were stupid enough and cruel enough to video tape the entire incident, for the whole internet world to view on You Tube.
Little did they know or realize that the tape would be their ultimate downfall as it is now in the hands of the Lakeland County Sheriffs Dept and will be used against them in a court of law,where I can only hope these individuals receive the punishment, they so rightly deserve, regardless of their gender or age,they should be charged as "adults" and punished accordingly. This was no random attack,they planned it ahead of time, lured this poor girl to the home, did not allow her to leave and viciously beat her within an inch of her life, showing no remorse or guilt for their sick and depraved behavior and after being arrested for the crime and locked in a holding cell,it was reported they were laughing and joking all the while, even inquiring of the guards if they were going to be let out in time for "cheer leading practice". This in my opinion,shows a pure lack of moral responsibility, a complete and utter disregard for human life and a total lack of moral upbringing,by the parents of these individuals,one of them appeared on the Today Show and actually "defended" her daughters behavior, saying that because this young girl "badmouthed the teenagers on her MySpace page,"she got what she deserved" as if this was a valid excuse for the brutal beating. I find this to be an unbelievable and sad comment on today's society, where this kind of sick and depraved behavior can be defended by anyone, let alone a parent, supposedly in charge of rearing and teaching good moral values to their children.i can now only pray that the "system" sends a clear and concise message to the public at large,that this kind of degenerate behavior will no longer be tolerated by punishing these outlaws, to the full extent of the law.
